About

Helen Collis Andy HemmingsWelcome to my blog. It’s probably a good idea for you to know a little about me, so here’s a brief introduction. My name is Andy, I have two children, Becky and Katie. I live my partner Helen and her two children, about five minutes drive from the sea in Suffolk, England, where I have spent many hours crab fishing.

This blog records the events in my life, my sometimes unethical and politically incorrect views of the world, and my hopes, fears and plans for the future, my exploits in the world of Kuk Sool Won, Korean martial arts. I hope that this blog interest somebody somewhere and I welcome feedback.

Kuk Sool Won

This section of Bluemoonblog has been written to give an insight into what it is like to take up Kuk Sool Won as a complete beginner, and understand my journey as a martial art student.

I started writing this blog so that I didn’t forget my early experiences as a complete beginner, who was at the start, terrified out of his wits and completely out of my depth. Through practising Kuk Sool Won you’ll gain many things, such as confidence, self-respect, health and good friends.

Kuk Sool Won

I hope these thoughts give you an insight into the amazing world of Kuk Sool Won, that I have the privilege of belonging too.

Bluemoonblog is dedicated to those all those people who teach, who train, and who encourage, but most importantly of all, to those who never give up, no matter how many times they hit the ground or a mental brick wall. But especially those people who are about to start their own journey, for it begins with just one step.

If you want to know if Kuk Sool Won is for you, get yourself down to the Waveney Valley Sports Centre and get stuck in, you’ll never regret taking that first step.
