Our favourite Lindian bars and resturants
Lindos has a really good selection of bars. Some are very relaxed, where they are great for enjoying the evening at a slower pace, where-as others are very lively, playing modern music and drawing large crowds. There’s enough variety for the most disconcerting visitor, to find somewhere that suits their taste.
Museum Bar
The museum bar is classic Lindian architecture, with carved sandstone walls and sun bleached woodwork. Outside the bar there are long stone benches, with scatter cushions and tiny glass tables for you to just relax and take in the views. The bar is in a quieter part of the village, and ideally located near Stephany’s, and Dyonisis restaurants, so perfect for pre-dinner drinks. The inside is a full on dance bar, very, very loud, with contemporary decor.

Gela Blu ice cream parlour
Oh wow, just perfect homemade ice cream, cakes, and savouries! It’s one of the places in Lindos you’ve just got to try, the range of ice creams and sorbets is huge, along with the bowls. Be prepared to sit a while, as the portions are enormous.

Byzantio Restaurant and Bar.
This is a very classy lounge bar, within historical Lindian
architecture, right in the heart of Lindos village. The bar has probably the most friendly owner and staff I have ever experienced anywhere. The young lady that served our drinks, simply couldn’t do enough for us. The friendly atmosphere, was one that makes us want to return again and again. The bar had brilliant selection of easy listening and lively music, and probably the cheapest priced drinks in Lindos. Inside the bar was never too busy that you couldn’t relax, and if you sat outside you still experience the hectic Lindian life.

Stephany’s restaurant
The fine rooftop restaurant at Stephany’s in Lindos, is one of the greatest treats to experience in Rhodes. Its nestled at the foot of the sheer rock face of the Acroplolis, opposite the Museum bar. The view is so astonishingly breathtaking, that you could eat boring food there and be quite content. Coupled with the wine, the fabulous food, the amazing decor, and the exemplary service from the staff you have the perfect recipe for a magical evening. Whatever else you do whilst in Lindos, make sure you eat at Stephany’s!
