A wonderfully cooling breeze. Heavenly

Gosh, it feels like we’ve been in Lindos for a week already, and yet its only been four days! It’s been so relaxing, stress free, and I feel completely refreshed. It’s surprising big what a few days rest can do! We awoke today to a stiff northerly breeze, and that might sound disappointing, but it was extremely welcome.

The heat was so intense today, that after 5 mins in the midday sun, my iPhone shutdown with heat exhaustion. I later found out that the temperature had risen to over 115 degrees in the direct sunlight. I now understand why the locals stop working and have an afternoon nap.

Yesterday evening after our meal, we took a leisurely a stroll along the headland to Lindos, and made our way down through the maze of whitewashed houses, and over the cobbled lanes, to the little harbour. It was a really nice walk down, but coming back was a little harder, the climb back up in the evening heat was challenging!
