After four years of building a home together, Helen and I have decided to become husband and wife. It’s decision that’s been a long time coming, one that we’ve given a lot of thought too, but most of all, one that brings us great happiness.

We’ve decided to get married on the 23rd June 2012 in St Peters Church Carlton Colville, and we’re having our reception at Parkhill Hotel, in the Old Barn. Trying to coordinate the church, venue and family was an enormous challenge, but it’s worked out perfectly. Now everything is confirmed we can start the countdown to the big day. It’s all very, very exciting.

Helen has already started buying wedding magazines, looking at dresses, and planning the reception. We’ve got a scrapbook that we’re putting photos, ideas, and dreams in, to help us get our wedding just right.

As Helen & I have both been married before, we’ve experienced the typical wedding with formal photography, flowers, cars, and the wedding breakfast with family you’ve not seen in years. So from the outset, we’ve decided that our wedding ceremony and reception is going to be less fussy, a lot more relaxed, and a huge amount of fun.
