Writing Bluemoonblog has taught me, about me..

I’ve been reading some of my previous postings on this blog, and I’ve realised in the short time I’ve been blogging, I’ve have learned quite a few of things about myself:

I have developed in my understanding of, and expectations of Kuk Sool Won martial arts. I really look at things differently now, and can see the bigger picture. Furthermore, I see my limitations as challenges, and my strengths as opportunities.

My appreciation of the Kuk Sool Won instructors and fellow students who have guided me on my journey, does not diminish, and continues to grow. It is wonderful to think that I have had the chance to meet, interact, and be trained by these unselfish and motivating people. I anticipate many more opportunities to explore the depths of my martial art in the future.

I can greatly appreciate those fellow Kuk Sool Won students who come to class with a healthy, encouraging, and energetic attitude. They make the Do-jang (training environment) such a pleasant place to be. I really admire their dedication, and effort. I hope that I am giving them the same impression.

I have learned to appreciate my Kuk Sool Won training for the unique, all encompassing, martial art that it is, and to appreciate my training for the strengths contained within it. My energies at this point of my journey are high, and balanced. I’m continuing to climb the ladder, and I’m focused on my basics, and truly centering my spirit.
