Do you known what impresses me most when I meet a fellow Kuk Sool Won student? Well it’s their sincere politeness.

I don’t just mean their sheer attention to the details of politeness and etiquette. Anyone can do that, even fake it if they wanted too. I am talking about sincere politeness, courtesy that is motivated by humility.

Yes, I’m impressed by rank, titles, awards, or even great forms or techniques. However, without sincere politeness, those things are meaningless or at best are very shallow. Sincerity, honesty, humbleness, politeness, respectfulness, courtesy, these are impressive.
